E-SPORTS EVENTS
General Game Guidelines:
- Game Venue: NATIVIDAD HALL ( Rooms are to be announced. )

Each of the four teams in each of the two divisions must have exactly 6 players.
The tournament shall be conducted in a double elimination format.
A draw shall be conducted before the tournament. The teams that draw the same
number shall face each other in the first round.
A Call of Duty: Mobile game shall be played through 3 rounds at most. The games shall
be:
- Search and Destroy
- Hardpoint
- Domination
A Mobile Legends game shall be played through 1 round only for the . The final games
shall be played through 3 rounds at most (Best-of-Three).
There are no spectators allowed except for tournament admin. There will be a live
screen for the audience to watch.
If an opposing team is late by 15 minutes or more, the other team will win by default.
Registered teams shall provide their own internet connection throughout the whole
tournament proper.

A team should have exactly 6 players. All players shall be present, including the reserve
player before, during, and after the game. DEADLINE OF REGISTRATION: JANUARY

The tournament shall be conducted in a double elimination bracketing system. (see the
image below for reference.)
A draw shall be conducted before the tournament. The teams that draw the same
number shall face each other for the first round.
A Call of Duty: Mobile game shall be played through 3 rounds at most. The games shall
be:
- Search and Destroy
- Hardpoint
- Domination
There are no spectators allowed except for tournament admin. There will be a live
screen for the audience to watch.

The winning team will represent the organization and the department for the upcoming
College of Engineering Week 2024.
All registered players will obtain certificates. A special certificate will be given for the
Champion Team and Finals MVP.

Map Pool: RANKED MAPS ONLY. All Players shall quit the game if the map chosen
randomly by the game will not be a ranked map.
Mode Order: Game Modes will be determined by random.
Starting Sides will be alternate between game modes.
Loadout Restrictions: Players are prohibited from using any of the items specified
below at any point during the game. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture /
disqualification of the game. Players are encouraged to record in order to provide
evidence to an administrator if their opponent is accused by using any of the prohibited
items shown below:

All legendary lethal and tactical utility skins are also prohibited.
Note: The Loadout Restriction section is slightly modified and is dominantly based on Call of
Duty: Mobile - World Championship 2023.

Players are prohibited from using any kind of emulation software or Tablet device. If any
players are caught using the item stated will be disqualified for the whole tournament.
DISCONNECTIONS. If any player disconnects during the first round or first minute of the
match, the match may be restarted. After a minute, the match will continue regardless of
any disconnections. If a match is halfway completed and a player disconnects, the
remaining players must continue the match. The disconnected player may reconnect
until the match is over. Players are responsible for promptly notifying referees of any
disconnection. Organizers will make fair and final decisions based on the provided
evidence.
In the case of a server crash, the admin will rehost the lobby and restart the match.
ADMIN RIGHTS. Admin may overrule all rules based on the situation. The organizer’s
decision is final after the appeal process.
CHEATING. ANY PLAYERS CAUGHT CHEATING WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND THE
OTHER TEAM WILL WIN BY DEFAULT.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

● Teams will be asked to act gracefully when the game starts. NO VULGAR WORDS,
TAUNTING OR SPAMMING. Any teams that are found not following this rule are given a
one-time warning; and if the player/team repeats the action, the player/team committed
the action will be disqualified.
● DISCONNECTIONS. If any player disconnects during the first 2 minutes of the match
and fails to reconnect, a grace period of 3 minutes will be given. If the player is still not
able to reconnect, the game will restart.
○ Both teams will be given Pause Time, with a maximum of 5 minutes.
○ The administrators have the right to extend the time.
○ The disconnected player may reconnect until the match is over.
○ Players are responsible for promptly notifying referees of any disconnection.
Organizers will make fair and final decisions based on the provided evidence.
○ Once all players are ready, as indicated by both Team Captains, the game will
resume.

game can be continued from a new draft but has to be the same line-up.

decision is final after the appeal process. The organizer has the right to apply penalties,
disqualify and dismiss any registered player from the tournament, at their discretion, at
any stage of the tournament.
● CHEATING. ANY PLAYERS CAUGHT CHEATING WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND THE
OTHER TEAM WILL WIN BY DEFAULT. Cheating doesn’t need to be successful to
qualify as a violation. Conspiring to cheat is already a violation and will lead to an
automatic disqualification for all conspirators.

● Players are expected to conduct themselves and compete with the spirit of
sportsmanship, maintaining a friendly and polite demeanor in activities involving other
participants and the public in general.
● MATCH PREPARATION
○ Game Type: Draft Pick
1. Picks and Bans Process, Phase and Pick Priority
- A coin toss will be used for the side of the team before a match.
- Wrong Pick - If a team has picked/banned a hero by mistake, the game
will still continue. There will be no remakes due to wrong pick/ban.

If there is a mistake due to player negligence when swapping heroes, the
match will still continue. Exchanging devices is not allowed under any
circumstance. Pick priority will only be applied to the grand finals team
who are from the upper bracket . They will have the pick priority coming
into the grand finals.
