BRITISH EXPLORERS
Cause- England began sending explorers to the New World in the 1580's in search of exotic
food, wealth. The British wanted to create colonies that would help produce raw materials that
would be imported into Great Britain. They wanted to increase their wealth and army as well as
in search of merchants who would them their goods and different items.
Effect-they lost some people on the expedition as they went for a long journey and everyone
was greedy for power and pride so they had different perspective. They were also envious of
Spain.
