To know the importance of transportation in daily lives. What is transportation? the action of transporting someone or something or the process of being transported. is the movement of humans, animals, and goods from one location to another. Transport refers to the activity that facilitates physical movement of goods as well as individuals from one place to another. In business, it supports trade and industry in carrying raw materials to the place of production and distributing finished products for consumption. TRANSPORTATION Importance of Transportation Transportation contributes to the economic development, industrial and agricultural development, social development, political development, cultural development and Business Organizations. Importance of Transportation Economic Development It maximizes the optimization of natural resources by concentrating the production of goods best suited for the region. Example: Importance of Transportation Economic Development Transportation has become a symbol and a crucial element of economic growth; moving resources easily helped societies to grow at a good rate. It help create better accessibility for new and old investors and business entities. The emergence of markets, schools, colleges and facilities is a sign of increased economic growth. Importance of Transportation Industrial and Agricultural Development It has been possible to use good fertilizers, qualitative seeds, and numerous modern equipment and techniques because they could be transported from one place to another at reasonable costs. Encouraging trade, industry, commerce, and agriculture is one of the simplest and most economical ways of boosting the national wealth of a country. The value of land has increased because even wastelands can be developed with access to transportation. During war or emergency situations it is an effective transport system that can move quickly between sensitive areas and transport defense personnel, equipment, materials, food items, and other necessities. Transportation helps in cultural development by spreading relevant information and knowledge amongst individuals. The importance of transportation in business is undoubtedly immense.
