Subject: Invitation: Student and Parent/Guardian Attendance Meeting
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
We hope this email finds you well. The 11th-grade Assistant Principals, Dr. Mendevil and Ms.
Polley, and the 11th-grade team at Northwestern High School are writing to invite you and your
student to attend an important meeting regarding your student’s attendance. As diligent and
dedicated education professionals, we believe in nurturing a positive and productive learning
environment for our students.
We have noticed that your student has accumulated ten or more days of absences, which is
significantly impacting both their academic performance and overall progress. Recognizing the
vital role that parents and guardians play in their child's academic success, we firmly believe
that collaboration and open communication among all parties involved is crucial.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the impact of these absences on your student's grade
and progress, as well as to explore potential strategies and support systems that can be put in
place to help them get back on track. We truly value your insights and contributions to this
discussion as we work together to ensure your student's success.

Location: Northwestern High School and Zoom
(The online Meeting link will be shared on the morning of Jan. 10, 2024)

student's educational journey. If there are any scheduling conflicts, kindly let us know, and we
