Final Project I 2147416 & Final Project II 2147417 Senior Project for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering consists of Final Project I 2147416 3 credits and Final Project II 2147416 6 credits. Then, the total credit for the senior project is 9 credits. Final Project I 2147416 (3 credits) has the workload which equivalent to the 2 semesters senior project workload of other programs. The workload of Final Project I must consist of Hardware and Software workload. Final Project II 2147417 (6 credits) has the workload which equivalent to the 4 semesters senior project workload of other programs. The workload of Final Project I must consist of Hardware and Software workload. For Final Project I 2147416, the students must have the project proposal within 1-3 weeks after the 1st semester begin. Then, the students need present the pre and first project proposal to committees to obtain the permission to conduct the project. The advisor duty is to consult and control quantity and quality of work. The students will do the project management to plan the working step. They need to provide the timeline of work, conceptual design, concept evaluation, project proposal, and project proposal presentation within the first one month. Next, they will study the theory, present propose theory, and confirm the propose theory with the advisor. Also, the conceptual evaluation may need to be conducted to confirm the concept. Once the concept is succeeded, the first prototype is built. The first prototype must finish in the first semester and it should almost be equipollent to the concept evaluation. For Final Project II 2147416, based on know-how of the first prototype and the first prototype is not a complete one, the students must plan for building the second and third prototypes. They need to provide the plan to work on the second and third prototypes and the advisor need to approve the plan. The students should present the problem and issues from the first prototype, then provide the solutions to the advisor. Finally, the outcome of the final project is the working prototype based on the plan. Project Criteria 1) 2) 3) 4) The project outcome must can be evaluated. It is useful and can be developed. The project must consist of building hardware and software. Only software is not qualified. The maximum number of team member is 3. (2 members is the best.) The project idea is from students or advisor. The project should be useful for industries and can be use in practical. 5) The workload of the project must be suitable for the designed credits and the advisors must be approved.
