(Probably a good idea to print out the pupils answer sheet at this point) - The grade C set covering 'Parallel and Intersecting lines' has been used for this example. It takes pupils no time at all to cut out the cards - each set can then be stored and used again, and again....... Step 2 : Select a starting point Pick any card to start, and answer the question Card 10 Answer : x = 75° Step 3 : Find the next card in the loop Find the card that shows your answer Card 7 Now answer the question on this card …….….find the card with you answer………. Step 4 : Keep going until you have answered all of the cards Repeat the process, keeping your cards in order as you work - CARD 10, CARD …….. (or record your card sequence on the pupils answer sheet as you work) Step 5 : Time to check your work! Using the completed Pupil answer sheet showing the order in which you completed the cards - Add together the card numbers in the squares record your total in one of the 'Totals' boxes - Add together the card numbers in the circles record your total in the other 'Totals' box Step 6 : The moment of truth! Take any card from the set you have been using and look at the numbers in the two circles. If these totals are the same as the ones you have just recorded in Step 5 - then you have probably answered all of the questions correctly. (An additional check would be to look at the answer sheet to check that the order is correct)
