THE NATIONAL LEARNING CAMP ASSESSMENT
FOR GRADE 7 & 8 STUDENT OF GOVERNOR FERRER MEMORIAL
INTEGRATED NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
The National Learning Camp (NLC) is one of the learning recovery
strategies aligned with the MATATAG Agenda to provide transformative, concrete, and
targeted reforms to further improve the country’s education system. On the other hand,
NLC Assessment shall use the pre-test post-test design to describe the effectiveness of
the learning camp intervention on the learning proficiencies of participating learners
before and after attending the NLC. The NLC Assessment is an online computer-based
assessment using the DepEd LMS Moodle platform which shall be administered in testing
centers compliant with the technical requirements and specifications set by the DepEdCentral Office.
In reference to Memorandum DM-OUCT-2023-148 re: Conduct of the
English, Science, and Mathematics Assessment for the National Learning Camp
Assessment released by the Office of the Undersecretary for Curriculum and Teaching
last June 9, 2023, through the Curriculum Implementation Division and ICT Services Unit,
informs all public secondary schools of the Conduct of the National Learning Camp (NLC)
Assessment on English, Science, and Mathematics for Grades 7 and 8 Learners.
Thus, Memorandum of Department of Education; the Governor Ferrer
Memorial Integrated National High School under Division of General Trias City of Region
IV-A CALABARZON, requested the Office of the City Mayor through the Office of the City
Information and Communications Technology Officer to use the City of General Trias ICT
Training Center and the Manpower Development Building to conduct the said assessment
there.
The number of students conducted the said assessments where 561. 275
males and 286 females. To properly show you the actual details, please use the table
below.

Total Number of Students:
561
The facilities personnel assisted on the conduct of the said educational
event. The facility also provided a waiting area for students who are still waiting for their
turn to take the exam and those of which who already finished the exam. Water is also
provided to help them hydrated through the whole period.
