A RESOLUTION ON THE PROPER WASTE MANAGEMENT IN TIWI AGRO –
INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL
WHEREAS, Tiwi Agro-Industrial School is committed to impart and follow
Republic Act (RA) 9003 which focus on practicing responsible and sustainable
management of solid waste materials thus reducing its impact on the environment and
contributing to a sustainable school
Environment;
WHEREAS, the TAIS School Governance Council with the cooperation and
collaboration of teachers, parents, learners and stakeholders are authorized to develop
and implement Policy on proper waste disposal in the school;
WHEREAS, as agreed by the Grade level chairpersons, subject heads and
chairmen and the members of SGC, the following policies shall be observed:
(a) Each grade level area should observe proper waste disposal by providing trash
bin/ bags;
(b) All trashes should properly be collected by the utilitymen and disposed in the
vacant lot at the back of the social hall building.
(c) Students and all school personnel should separate the bio and nonbiodegradable wastes and placed it properly in the bins/ trash;
(d) Monitor the implementation of this policy;

WHEREAS, the committee assigned to implement this policy shall submit a
monthly report as to the compliance of everyone concerned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE, TAIS School Governing
Council, during its meeting that the policy of proper disposal of waste and its
management is approved and for immediate implementation.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the offices
concerned such as the Office of the School Principal, EMIS in-charge, Local School
Board through the Public Schools District Supervisors, Office of the Sangguniang
Bayan, and Office of the Schools Division Superintendent through the School
Governance and Operations Division for reference and record purposes:
