How has modern civilization expanded and
adapted over time
The world is expanding and adapting through time toward new
challenges, ideas and more ,which continues to shape today’s world
into what we are now. Thinking more about it, the world has evolved so
much from what it used to be, look like and how people think now is
different from how people used to think in the past cause of the
changes that people made. There was technology that had roughly
existed 3 million years ago with the invention of stone tools than in the
1990s the internet was a new commodity that slowly became accessible
in households overtime more inventions were created, which shows
how much the world has adapted gradually throughout the years. This
essay begins by discussing the social structures of today’s civilization
compared to the past is social structure, it then explores how
technology has evolved through the years, later moving on to religion
and its earlier years , subsequently describing briefly on changing
communities, finally finishing off with conclusion summarizing the
entire essay.
SOCIAL STRUTURE
Social structure is a term given to interconnected relationships for social groups,
distinctive, stable arrangements of institutions in by which people interact and
become part of . Examples of social structure can include statuses , roles, social
network , groups and organization, social institutions, and society. They are two
levels of social structure micro level: small interpersonal level; organizational
network in the office and level two Marco level: the ”Big picture’’ how does it fit
into society ?, social structure is an important cause it helps make big differences
by influence large systems for example economic systems, legal systems and
political system and social structure could be described as a network of people
which establishes society.
Compared to the past a lot of things has changed from civil rights , woman’s rights
and the fact the LGBTQIA+ is now legal is very scary in today’s society.
In the past LGBTQ would be seen as absurd ( absurd meaning
ridiculously unreasonable, illogical, inappropriate) for many reasons
mostly cause it was seen as weird and odd . But sadly has been
normalized nowadays.
Woman used to have no rights cause they were seen as people who
lacked the expertise or mental capacity to offer a useful opinion from
1849 until 1920 were they was a national association called The
National Woman Suffrage Association which was formed by Elizabeth
Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, sending out a 1871 petition to
congress requesting that suffrage rights be extended to woman and
that woman be heard on the floor of congress, this movement had
started in the 19th century during the campaign against slavery in the
U . S . Cause of their efforts and their association woman have rights
now but most people still think that woman need more rights even
though woman are given the same rights and laws any other person has
no matter the gender or race.
TECHNOLOGY Technology can be known as machinery and equipment
developed from application of scientific knowledge for practical
purposes or technology can be known as a branch of knowledge that
deals with engineering and applied sciences. This tech has generally
made a huge difference in peoples lives in the world its changed so
much that most people properly don’t remember what it used to feel
like without this type of technology in todays world over all it has help
people so much that technology changed how we work and do things in
our daily lives.
It is truly transcendent how the world has developed and civilized
through science. Many in which include technology.
Nevertheless even thought this technology claims to create a better
future on the other hand it can also destroy our future with the
increased distractions that are caused by apps daily increasing
procrastination as evidence.
Less than 7% of people was online In 2ooo today half the global
population has access to the internet, at the start of 2000s there were
740 million cell phone subscription two decades has passed that
number the was mentioned earlier surpassed 8 billion . Fundamentally
demonstrates how the past 20 years has shaped how and where we
consume media.
RELIGION
Religion is a range of social cultural systems, including idiosyncratic
behaviors/ practices, beliefs , prophecies and ethics that is sacred, holy
and spiritual. This also has a fair share of changes toward today’s
people behaviors and that it makes people of religion sound civilized
and astonishing cause they are simply extraordinary for example
Christianity.
Despite the plethora of religions that people already conceived of gods
that had looked out for them and their welfare of their crops and cities
however the globally known religions such as Hinduism, Judaism,
Buddhism, Christianity and Islam are bigger than a single region itself.
The agrarian civilization is the main reason as to why religion is known
as people created more efficient systems of communication and more
complex government’s agrarian civilization also developed what we
know call religion.
Such religious congregations helped to stabilize urban society by making
its inherent inequality and insecurity more tolerable
CHANGING COMMUNITIES
Changing communities refers to a group of people who shares an
identity forming narrative. This is similar towards today’s civilization
cause if people don’t change the structure of the way we think things
can get worse. people need to stop making excuses and learn to act
more modern and be civilized to adapting our knowledge as a
community or evolve our understanding to create new thing that helps
mankind .
In conclusion every part of our lives, the routine we do every single
day without knowing that it is a habit be it a good one or bad one it
shapes out lives through the social structure that we our self’s created
that claims to help most of us a through technology, that install
believes with religion in community’s that changes every now and then.
Adapting ,evolving the world through modern civilization itself.
