AL KAMIL POWER PLANT
1. Introduction:
Al Kamil Power company (AKPC) has awarded their Al Kamil Power Plant equipment to Al Sifa
Trading company through tendering process. The plant is located near the town of Al Kamil in
the Sharqiyah Region, Sultanate of Oman. Sogex Oman LLC, has been contacted by M/S AL
Sifa Trading company for complete Al Kamil IPP equipment dismantling and packing including
3 Frame 9E GTGs and related equipment, Fuel gas Skids, Fuel Oil Unloading and transfer
system, Electrical System, BSDG, FF System, BOP, etc.
2. Executive Summary:
In the Week of 30th Dec to 4th Jan -2024,
Major activities include:
•
Dismantling of GT 1B base chimney & Elbow
•
GT 1A Busduct dismantled.
•
GT1A Main transformer (except Nitrogen filling), UAT and SST dismantling.
• GT 1B CW, Lube oil piping, platforms around GT1B
Constraints:
Space for dismantling parts.
Achieved 4.96 % against the planned 5 %
