Article Review
Student needs to obtain TWO (2) articles from reflective journals that are
related to any topic pertaining to records management. Students might refer
to their Scheme of Work for the topics. That article should be searched in a
reflective journal or online database, from the year 2015 until 2023. Both
articles must come from the same topic or sub-topic. Student needs to make
a COMPARISON between those two (2) articles.
Articles’ Example:
Article 1: Quality documentation and records management: a survey of
Turkish universities
Article 2: Strategies for Improvement of Records Management in Enhancing
Quality of Services in Institutions of Higher Learning: A Focus on Moi
University, Kenya

Final Project (Proposal on Records Management)
In a group of FOUR (4) to FIVE (5), students are required to prepare a
PROPOSAL for the establishment of a registry in any LOCAL AUTHORITIES
(PIHAK BERKUASA TEMPATAN) in Malaysia, for example Majlis Daerah
Kampar / Majlis Perbandaran Segamat / Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan. Students
should follow given the guidelines and highlight the importance process and
procedure in establishing the registry.

Filing Test
In a similar group, students are given one (1) hour to do the FILING TEST. All
materials will be provided by the lecturer EXCEPT red and black pen, ruler,
pencil, easer, puncher, and other needed things during the test.
Lecturer will assist the student before the test starts. Marks will be given once
the FILING TEST is done.
