BEF THREE PROJECT QUESTION
Many developing countries especially Sub-Saharan African Countries have been experiencing less
Economic growth as one of the macroeconomic variable for decades. Tanzania specifically presents
a very good example as one of these countries in which it has been experiencing low economic
growth before and after implementation of the structure adjustment programs like trade
liberalization. Due to this prolonged performance then it makes sense to continue re-examining some
factors that could be the main cause of Economic growth. Discuss the determinants of Economic
growth in Tanzania under the following discussions
a) Identify factors that affect economic growth in Tanzania
b) Using econometrics model establish the relationship between Economic growth and its
determinants
c) Discuss the results obtained in part (b) above
d) On the basis of discussion in “c” above, provide recommendations to the government of
Tanzania on what can be done to improve the performance of Economic growth.
