in Marelo Integrated School on August 15, 2023, at 8 am.
Background: The decision to undertake the tree pruning and cutting activity was

staff, and visitors. The aging trees within the school premises posed potential hazards,
including falling branches and weakened trunks, necessitating a comprehensive plan
to address these concerns.
Accomplishments: The School Governance Council, in collaboration with the relevant
stakeholders, achieved the following milestones during the tree pruning and cutting
activity:

 Conducted a thorough assessment of the trees on the school grounds.
 Developed a comprehensive plan for pruning and cutting, ensuring
minimal disruption to the learning environment.

 Organized awareness programs to inform the local community, parents,
and residents about the necessity of the activity.
 Addressed concerns and queries raised by stakeholders through
transparent communication channels.
3. Environmental Impact Mitigation:
 Collaborated with environmental experts to minimize the impact on the
ecosystem.
 Implemented measures to promote the health and sustainability of
remaining vegetation.

 Completed the pruning and cutting according to the approved plan,
