request the approval of the Cluster-Based In-Service Training entitled: "Educator Enrichment Series:
Addressing Teachers’ Needs" for Sta. Maria National High School and San Felipe National High School
Teaching and Non-teaching Personnel on January 24-26, 2024, at San Felipe National High School
The training’s target is to ensure that teaches are well-prepared, adaptable, and capable of
providing high-quality education to diverse groups of students in an ever-changing educational landscape. It
enables them to develop new skills and refine existing ones, contributing to their overall professional growth.

I. TRAINING TITLE:
"Educator Enrichment Series: Addressing Teachers’ Needs"
II. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE
In-service training act as a catalyst for teacher’s effectiveness, a way of updating
teacher’s skills and knowledge for improving teaching and learning which lead to better
job performance. In-service training is necessary for teachers to face new challenges in
the educational arena and fundamental aspect to improve teacher professionalism.
Training for teachers serves several important purposes, all aimed at enhancing the
quality of education and the effectiveness of teaching. Through this training, teachers stay
updated on the latest educational trends, teaching methods, and technologies. It
enables them to develop new skills and refine existing ones, contributing to their overall
professional growth.
The training is to be delivered through lecture discussion, collaborative work,
and workshop. This training will enable teachers to embed activities and assessments that
promote higher order thinking skills within their teachings, ensuring a comprehensive
approach to cognitive development.
III. DESCRIPTION OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
This will be a three-day training and workshop which will be participated by the Sta.
Maria National High School and San Felipe National High School Teaching and NonTeaching Staff.
IV. OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the training/workshop are:
1. Learn strategies in identifying and understanding the diverse needs of learners in the
classroom.
2. Explore methods in recognizing and addressing various learning styles and abilities.
3. Ensure that teachers are well-equipped to navigate and excel in today’s dynamic
learning environment
4. Train teachers in effective methods for assessing learners’ interests, strengths, and skills
5. Explore tools and resources for conducting career assessment.
V. EXPECTED DATES OF TRAINING AND VENUE
The training will be conducted on January 24-26, 2024, at Audio Visual Room of San
Felipe National High School, Binalonan, Pangasinan.
VI. STRATEGIES AND SUB-PROJECTS
This will be a three-day training/workshop which will be participated by the Sta.
Maria National High School and San Felipe National High School Teaching and NonTeaching Staff.
The resource speakers will provide interactive and interesting presentations and
collaborative work to participants. During the training, trainees are expected to interact
with the speakers and raise queries as part of the training. A workshop will be done by the
participants applying the learned concepts.
On the last day, participants will share and present their outputs.
