Modelling of Electric car using MATLAB/ Simulink
Created the electric car model by building the powertrain and its converter circuit with Lithium-ion battery.
And analyzed the efficiency of the vehicle by tracking the desired velocity and actual velocity and the power
withdrawn from the battery by analyzing the state of charge left in the battery after completion of cycle. And
analyzed how to increase the state of charge of vehicle by varying the parameters.
Mechanical design and Thermal modelling of the Battery Pack for Electric vehicle
Designed how the individual cylindrical Li-ion cells are mechanically arranged, electrically configured, and
connected with Battery management system to form the required capacity of battery pack. And designed the
thermal modelling of battery to simulate the temperature effects of the battery, compare the life cycle
performance of battery at different charge and discharge rates and how the temperature rise is managed and
reduced.
