All rights reserved © Baicells Technologies Co., Ltd. 1 2. Install eNodeB To get the signal coverage effect best, the NeutrionE224 should be placed in an unobstructed space. The NeutrionE224 can be installed on ceiling, wall or placed on the desktop. If it is placed on the desktop, only the cable connection is required. Install on Ceiling Attention: The thickness of ceiling is not less than 18mm, and bearing more than 5kg. If the strength is not suitable, the device maybe fall off. If the ceiling is made of unstable material, such as gypsum, this ceiling installation is not recommended. If the device must be installed on ceiling due to environment restriction, add one layer better panel under screws to make sure the device is fastness. All rights reserved © Baicells Technologies Co., Ltd. 2 Install on Wall The NeutrionE224 also can be installed on wall, the installation steps is the same as the ceiling installation. NOTE: The arrow on the back of the eNodeB must be upward. Connect Cable NOTE: 1. If the eNodeB supports optical interface (OPT) and electrical interface (WAN/POE+) simultaneously, anyone can be chosen for data back haul. If the eNodeB only supports electrical interface, it is used for data backhaul. 2. If POE+ is used for power supply, connect the WAN/POE+ interface to the POE interface of the POE adapter first, and then connect the LAN port of the POE adapter to the switch. 3. If POE+ is used for power supply, the POE adapter and the AC power must be placed in a reliable waterproof box. Power ON Power on the eNodeB, and wait a few minutes while the eNodeB boots up. Per the previous “1 Appearance”, check that the LED indicators are lighting as expected.
