For thousands of years, the endless succession of commerce has nurtured the unique temperament of Asian culture, which is inclusive and growing altogether. People-to-people exchanges not only stand for the spiritual bonds between ASEAN and China, but also the profound foundation for both sides to face the future and meet each other halfway across history. ASEAN and China have agreed to designate 2024 as the ASEAN-China Year of People-to-people Exchanges. In the purpose of fostering greater cultural affinity, deeper mutual understanding and fonder friendship between the peoples, especially the youths, of ASEAN Member States (AMS) and China, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) co-hosts, in collaboration with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of China, the Logo Design Contest for 2024 ASEAN-China Year of Peopleto-people Exchanges. The launching ceremony of the Contest has been conducted on 18 December 2023 in Changzhi City of Shanxi Province. I.Contestants The contest is open to all from both AMS and China. II.Timetable Collection of Entries: 18 December 2023 to 15 January 2024 Selection by the Appraisal Committee: 16 to 22 January 2024 Announcement of Awards: 1 February 2024 III.Awards 1.First prize: 30,000 yuan x1 person + certificate of award; Second prize: 10,000 yuan x2 persons + certificate of awards; Third prize: 1,000 yuan x5 persons + certificate of awards. The appraisal committee will also award a number of other contestants with certificates of recognition for their participation and contribution. 2.The winners of “First Prize” and “Second Prize” will be also awarded the title of honor, respectively “Promotion Influencer” and “Marvelous Designer” ; 3.The top three winners (First Prize and Second Prize) will be invited to attend the offline award ceremonies held by the organizer. The round-trip expenses will be borne by the organizer, and the necessary support including but not limited to translators (if necessary) will be provided; 4.The aforesaid winners will be selected by the appraisal committee; 5.All prizes are pre-tax amounts and will be settled in RMB. The individual income tax will be withheld and paid by ZCOOL website. The tax paid will be declared by ZCOOL in accordance with the local tax regulations and the Individual Income Tax Law.
