Technical writing is writing which is more informative and its purpose is to explain every topic different variety to other people. This writing presents all the information which helps the reader to solve all the problems about any topic. In this writing, the authors give information regarding any subject. They give directions, instruction and explain everything related to the subject. Technical writing provides information related to how the product works for the user. In general, the “bottom line” shall indicate profits earned by a company or the accounting figures of a profit and loss statement. However, in different types of messages, the same may mean different contextual-wise. For example, in any letter, the bottom line could be the emphasis given on the most relevant fact supporting an argument or details in each message. It could also change depending upon the kind of message it pertains to. For example, when the message must convey the final consideration made about a given scenario or an activity, such a fact is also called as bottom line. Therefore, by understanding where in context the message has been put, whether it is annual reports, or public notice circulars, the bottom-line change in different of messages. 4. Here traditional resume is the one which is a printout and written on a piece of paper all the information of the applicant whereas an electronic resume is either an HTML doc or pdf that provides the data of the applicant briefly and it will be sent from a device to device. In between normal resume and electronic resume, traditional resumes are better and easier to read whereas an electronic resume is mainly focused that the applicant can easily and quickly find a job with few main points in it. A paper resume may be tears or damaged easily even before applying but an electronic resume can be saved even after sending it is stored in the memory. In case of paper resume it may take some time before reaching to the company or it may not even receive but we do not know but by using an electronic resume we can send it instantly from a device using the internet within seconds and we do know if it isn’t sent, so we can resend it again. In view of writing hard copy should be presented beautifully but in an electronic resume more preference is given to content rather than its design or display. Before going to an interview, first we will send an e-resume then when we are attending an interview, we should present a hard copy of the resume. The content should be the same in both resumes, there are no changes as details are to be mentioned in both. 5. Know how to motivate a sales force. I have done it. - Here, the bullet starts with ‘know’. This is not an action verb. A resume bullet should preferably start with an action verb and should concisely represent the idea that the candidate wants to pursue. Here, the candidate intends to let the recruiter know that the candidate is experienced in motivating salespeople. The bullet be modified in better like so: Implemented various sales force motivation programs which resulted in a significant sales volume increase. Experienced in screening applicants and selecting salespeople. - - Again there is absence of an action verb at the beginning. Furthermore, the bullet point is not focusing the key words such as ‘recruitment and selection’. A better representation: Performed instrumental roles in recruiting and selecting XXX salespeople throughout my career. Know the pharmaceutical business from 11 years of experience. Here, again the bullet starts with an abstract ‘know’. The recruiter will not value the ‘knowledge’ without having a glimpse of evidence of experiences. It is worth mentioning which areas the candidate worked in throughout his/ her career. These types of bullets can only come at blankets to sub points. A better representation: Throughout experience in pharmaceutical industry with specialization in marketing and sales. Knowledgeable of realistic quota setting and incentives - Again misses an action verb at the beginning. Also, there is a complete lack of clarity as to what exactly is meant by being knowledgeable. The bullet point instead should focus on the action verbs and demonstrate the achievements as: Managed various realistic quota setting and incentives setting projects. Proven leadership ability - This phrase does not tell anything about the candidates and is combination of buzzwords only. It should be backed up by solid examples of leadership instances where the candidates have performed leadership roles and achieved some results out of it. Led numerous projects and programs both at the functional level and in divisional or organizational level. Flier: Based on the College Football Playoff Game Against Alabama vs Michigan
