I went over in class notes countless of times days before the exam and hours before the exam. I also filled my note card up with as many formulas, definitions and examples that Ms. Lewis provided. I also took my time with the homework to really digest what was being taught to me. Describe the effectiveness of the study method(s) you used? I think the methods I took were effective; with the help of the note card, the homework, and the notes I felt confident and prepared in what the test was over. There was only one section I felt I could’ve did better on because I skipped over the section to save time. But if I had to be honest I did cram a bit also right before the exam. Would you use the approaches you took again? Explain why or why not? Modified from M. Lovett (2008) and Damon P. Williams (2022) Post-Exam 1 Reflection Instructor: Professor Lewis I would do them again. But I would do them in more depth, as in of studying for more days and for longer instead of cramming at the last minute. Based on your responses to the questions above, describe at least three (3) things that you plan to do differently in preparing for the next exam. For instance, will you spend more time studying, change a specific study habit, or try a new one? Please describe. 1. study and write out formulas. 2. go over in. class and homework examples 3. Go to office hours and ask more questions in class. In a few sentences, describe your progress in the course so far? For instance, are you grasping the information well, are you satisfied with your performance so far, are there topics that are giving you trouble, etc.? Please describe. I feel as if I am but this unit of work definitely has been more challenging. It seem to be having more trouble with the quizzes and getting the grades I want. But I hope to get a better grasp on the material that’s to come. What can I do to help support your learning and your preparation for the next exam? I think a practice exam may suffice? But I truly feel as if as our teacher Ms. Lewis is doing everything in her power to help us succeed and prosper in the course. Modified from M. Lovett (2008) and Damon P. Williams (2022)
