RELEASED GREEN SEA TURTLE ALONG THE SEASHORE
OF SITIO TIMPOYOG, BRGY. ABACA, BANGUI, ILOCOS
NORTE.
Respectfully submitting the documentation report covering the above subject for
information reference and record.
Please be informed that on April 14, 2022 at 7:30 in the morning, by the Ramos Clan and
their group accidentally captured/trapped the Green Sea Turtle strangled by their fishing net
while fishing at Sitio Timpoyog, Brgy. Abaca, Bangui, Ilocos Norte. After they detached the
turtle, he immediately reported the matter to Brgy. Chairman Joseph Sumugat and who also
reported to SEMS Rafael D. Pambid of the office about the matter and they decided
immediately released toward the sea after the assessment of the Marine Turtle.
Assessment, measurement has a carapace width of 66 cm. and carapace length of 69 cm.
finding the turtle healthy and free from any injury, and it was immediately released without
tag by the aforementioned Brgy. Officials witnessed by some Fishermen Folks and Brgy.
Residents of Brgy. Abaca, Bangui, Ilocos Norte.
