1. Cell - It is the
basic unit of life
Examples: red blood
cell, fat cells,
neurons, plant cell,
animal cell

associated, similarly
structured cells that
perform specialized
functions.
Ex. Muscle tissue,
connective tissue

of tissues that
carries a particular
function.
Ex. Heart, liver,
stomach

4. Organ Systems - A
group of organs that
cooperate in to carry out a
particular function for the
organism
Example:Respiratory
system, circulatory system ,
Nervous System

individual living
thing.
Example:Human,
dog, cat, plants

organisms of one type
occupying a particular
area.
Example: Group of
elephants, school of fish

assemblage of many
