Medicine Entry Requirements INDIAN SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE (CBSE AND ISCE) All requirements are correct as of September 2023 but may be subject to change. 5 Year Programme DIRECT ENTRY Required Subjects You need to study three of the following subjects at standard grade 12(XII); Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. You must also study Mathematics to at least standard grade 10 (X), and hold a bonafide certificate of completion issued by the CBSE or ISCE. Minimum Grade You need a minimum GPA of 90% in grade 12 XII (with a minimum 80% in each subject). English language requirements An IELTS Academic minimum of 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in any band) or TOEFL equivalent. 6 Year Programme FOUNDATION YEAR Required Subjects You need to study three of the following subjects at standard grade 12(XII); Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. You must also study Mathematics to at least standard grade 10 (X), and hold a bonafide certificate of completion issued by the CBSE or ISCE. MEDICAL COMMENCEMENT PROGRAMME (MCP) Required Subjects At least three of the following subjects; Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at standard XII. Minimum Grade You need a minimum GPA of 70% with no Individual subject less than 65%.
