ME 270: Prelab 1 Worksheet (5 pts)

This worksheet is intended to help you get remote-access to the applications that we will use in the ME
270 labs this semester. Please refer to the “Software Installation Guide” for background information. If
you have any issues regarding accessing the software, please post your detailed query on the Discussion
board. The images/figures that you provided should possess sufficient resolution.
1. Make sure that you have registered a Fusion 360 account. Get yourself familiar with Fusion
360. Open Fusion 360 and attach screenshots of one extruded part and one revolved part
with rounded corners in the box below. You do not need to create a complicated part. We
simply would like to see that you can access Fusion 360 and know how to use basic
extrusion. Please include the time stamp. (5 points)
2. Create a Miro (miro.com) account. Miro is an online collaborative platform that allows you
to create online boards with flowcharts, sticky notes, pictures, and text. If you are not
familiar with Miro.com, we’d encourage you to play around with it before you come to the
lab. You will be using this in the Lab 1.
3. Get familiar with Canvas.
