Balance ; to measure the mass of substances
Barometer ; to measure the room temperature
Stopwatch/clock ; to measure the time taken
Separating funnel ; to separate liquids with low densities
Filter funnel ; to separate insoluble solids
Glass tube ; delivering chemicals
Glass rod/stirring rod – to stir
Conical flask ; to easily swirl around
To heat something, we use round-bottomed flask. (needs stand)
To stir, shaking in circular motion, we use conical flask along with filter funnel.
To stir, we use beaker with glass rod.
Wire guaze is used with tripod.
Crucible tongs ; to hold everything
Bunsen burner ; adjust the airhole to control the flame
Spirit burner/alcohol burner ;
Always comes with its lid
1. Not to evaporate fuels since they are volatile
2. To distinguish the flame
Evaporating basin/dish ; more evaporate because of large surface
Crucible ; အပူခက

A – mortal, B – pastel
Nga yope sone nk nga yope ja pwae
Test tube – to put chemicals
Test tube holder
Test tube stand
Thistle funnel – long leg, no spill of chemicals, like filter funnel but longer
Spatula – like a spoon, carries powder
Gas syringe – to produce gas with the syringe (say htoe ap)
Differences between dropping funnel and burette;
Dropping funnel – short, no scales (say chate tae hr)
Burette – long, has scale (looks like mortor)
Pipette – mhin htae tae hr
1/Volume = pressure
Temperature = pressure
