He has a very poor look. He puts on dirty and tarn cloth. His hair is unabashed and with out oil. Sometimes a street beggar is alone and sometimes in a company. A street beggar may be able-bodied, blind lame or crippled. He ignores the sun in summer and cold in winter. Thus he vexes people. He is a pest. So accident have become quite common. Most often accident take place for careless driving. Everyday we find the news of many road accidents in newspaper. Last week I saw a serious street accident. It took place before my eyes. It was about 3p.m an September 18 last. I was going to my coaching in the Mirpur road near the Science laboratory. A young boy going to the same way. The boy was crossing the road. Just at that time a bus was coming at a great speed. He had just moved to the middle of the road that time the bus knocked him down. The bus did not stop rather it speed away. I rushed to the spot. I thought he was dead. Thank Allah, he was not. He lay senseless. Mean while a crowed had gathered there. Two men took him to the hospital. I was greatly shocked to at this tragic scène. I can not forget this scene. Our National Flag Every free nation has a flag of its own. It is the symbol of independence and sovereignty of a free country. Bangladesh is also a free country. So we have got a flag of our own. We fell very proud for this flag because it means that Bangladesh is a free and sovereign country. Our national flag is the symbol of our nation. Its shape is rectangular having a proportion of 10:6. It may be made of cotton, linen or silk. There are two colours in our flag. They are green and the red. The green is the symbol of the youth and the red is the symbol of the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who laid down their lives. We salute the national flag and remember the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. We feel very proud of our national flag.
