A Moonlit Night
There is nothing artificial in natural beauty. Nothing can be compared to
natural beauty. A moonlit night is really charming and enjoyable. It present’s a
beautiful sight. It dazzles our eyes and sooths our heart. In a moonlit night the
moon looks like a disk of golden. If the is in summer, it becomes more
enjoyable. The sky is clear. The full moon shines brightly. Children play for
long hours in a moonlit night. Men and women go from one house to another.
The rivers look nice in a moonlit night. The whole nature looks bright. People
of all age enjoy a moonlit night. Some birds come out of their nests and fly
about. As men birds and animal everybody enjoy themselves a moonlit night.
A moonlit night is pleasant and fine indeed.
A Street Beggar
The beggar who begs in the street is called a street beggar. He is seen sitting or
standing everywhere in the street of towns or cities. He has a very poor look.
He puts on dirty and tarn cloth. His hair is unabashed and with out oil.
Sometimes a street beggar is alone and sometimes in a company. A street
beggar may be able-bodied, blind lame or crippled. He ignores the sun in
summer and cold in winter. Thus he vexes people. He is a pest. A street beggar
has a bag handing down his shoulder and he has also a begging bawl. When a
passer by walks past him he stretches his begging bowl for alms. A street
beggar prays for the passers by who help him. We should try to help them.
An Accident I Have Witnessed
Our country is over populated. Roads are also busy. So accident have become
quite common. Most often accident take place for careless driving. Everyday
we find the news of many road accidents in newspaper. Last week I saw a
serious street accident. It took place before my eyes. It was about 3p.m an
September 18 last. I was going to my coaching in the Mirpur road near the
Science laboratory. A young boy going to the same way. The boy was crossing
the road. Just at that time a bus was coming at a great speed. He had just
moved to the middle of the road that time the bus knocked him down. The bus
did not stop rather it speed away. I rushed to the spot. I thought he was dead.
Thank Allah, he was not. He lay senseless. Mean while a crowed had gathered
there. Two men took him to the hospital. I was greatly shocked to at this tragic
scène. I can not forget this scene.
Our National Flag
Every free nation has a flag of its own. It is the symbol of
independence and sovereignty of a free country. Bangladesh is also a free
country. So we have got a flag of our own. We fell very proud for this flag
because it means that Bangladesh is a free and sovereign country. Our
national flag is the symbol of our nation. Its shape is rectangular having a
proportion of 10:6. It may be made of cotton, linen or silk. There are two
colours in our flag. They are green and the red. The green is the symbol of
the youth and the red is the symbol of the sacrifices of the freedom
fighters who laid down their lives. We salute the national flag and
remember the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. We feel very proud of our
national flag.
Traffic Jam
Traffic jam is a common incident in the third world country like
Bangladesh. It is one of the most irritating problems in our civic life.
Every morning when we open the newspaper we can not but see the news
of traffic jam. We consider it a threat to our modern civilization. The
problem is mainly caused by us especially the un-conscious people.
Normal course of life is greatly hampered as it creates destructive
influence on our personal, social and national life. Production of the
country, office work, business- trade and commerce educational
institutions and even the international affairs are jeopardized by traffic
jam. As a result the economy as well as the development of the country
faces a heavy loss. Traffic jam kills our valuable times, properties and
lives as well. Traffic jam hampers our daily life so we should try to
solving the problem immediately of the whole nation.
