To ensure you're exam-ready, we offer two
valuable resources: the Practice Test and the
Practice Lab (exclusive paid subscriber
benefits).
The CompTIA Network+ Practice Lab (included in a paid subscription - $129/value) is a safe
hands-on, in-browser virtual environment that allows you to apply the concepts you learn in the
course. It provides you with practical, real-world scenarios to develop the skills needed to
combat cybersecurity threats effectively. Our SMEs have threaded applicable labs throughout
the course to help you gain hands-on experience that aligns with the concepts covered in the
course, enhancing your learning and retention.
Pre-loaded with servers, firewalls and virtual machines, you’ll learn hands-on:
Introduction to the OSI Model
Networking Topologies and Characteristics
Internet Protocol Addressing Solutions
Cable and Connector Types
Cable Management Solutions
Virtual Network Concepts
Network Security Concept Fundamentals
General Network Attacks
Network Services and Protocols
Network Command Line Tools
Network Analysis Software

Additionally, the CompTIA Network+ Practice Test (included in a paid subscription - $129/value)
is an invaluable tool for building confidence and familiarizing yourself with the types of questions
you'll encounter on the exam. It includes over 450 practice questions with detailed explanations,
helping you assess your knowledge and identify areas where you need further study. By taking
the Practice Test, you'll gain exposure to similar questions that you may encounter on exam day,
allowing you to approach the actual test with ease and confidence.
Note: The Practice Test can be accessed any time if you are a Cybrary paid subscriber. We
often recommend that learners leverage the practice test as much as possible.
Sample Learning Plan
RECOMMENDED: Many students we speak with recommend scheduling purchasing an exam
voucher and setting a test date prior to beginning to study for the exam. They say this was the
best way to keep themselves accountable to studying and preparing for the exam. Setting a test
date allows you to create a learning plan and schedule.

So, why should you consider getting certified?
The CompTIA Network+ is a significant first step in your IT and Cybersecurity journey. Building
strong knowledge in networking is key to a successful career in defensive and offensive security
roles. While CompTIA recommends the A+ certification, many will say the A+ is not necessary
to prepare for and earn the Network+. While the Network+ is often recommended prior to
pursuing the Security+, it isn’t required; however, the Security+ assumes you have developed
the knowledge you would gain by studying for the Network+.
If you are just getting started in IT or cybersecurity, we highly recommend earning your
CompTIA Network+. With Cybrary, we provide you with a comprehensive certification prep
program to build your confidence and ensure you are 100% ready on test day.
Let’s get started!
