Problem Statement: Describe the problem, what is not working, what impact this problem is having on customers, the business, employees, the environment, etc. Since when it has been happening, what is the time frame in which this problem was identified? Were data collected on this problem and what units of measurement were used? What is the current benchmark performance? Which process gives this output? The problem description must not contain any solution. 2. Business Case: Why is this a high priority? What is the impact associated with not achieving the desired level of performance? (e.g. cost, production, schedule, quality, time cycle) How well is this project aligned with the strategic plan? 3. Project Objective: Indicate the objectives of the project, the indicators impacted (management, economic-financial) and their timeframe. 4. Primary Metric: Which business KPIs will be implemented? The primary unit of measure of the project is what will measure the implementation/success of the project (cubic metres, litres sold, EBIT) and it should be defined how it will be measured. 5. Project Scope: Which area, department, geographic area or product/market/customer are being covered and which are affected by this work? Which part of the process will be included? What is outside the scope? Are there any limitations? 6. Financial Summary: Provide a cost analysis of the project and include the expected capital and operational expenditure. If savings or increases are realised, then these benefits/savings will have to be quantified in monetary terms. If the benefits are non-monetary, then explain what has been increased (e.g. improved customer satisfaction, and loyalty, safety and public policy, reputation, etc.). 7. Enter the target date for project completion Insert a list of names of people who have been indicated to support the project. The list should also include the area of responsibility for each team member/unit they belong to.
