Self-Service Add/Drop Course Registration Overview Lambton College is moving to Self Service for adding and dropping courses during the registration period. This document will explain how to navigate the add/drop process. Adding a Course 1. Login to MyLambton.ca and select Self Service from the top menu. 2. From the homepage of Self Service, select Course Catalog. This can also be found in the left side menu under Academics. 3. Use the Catalog Advanced Search to find a course. The fields in this screen are not mandatory; the more you use, the more you narrow your search. In this example, I will select a term and subject matter. If you know the exact course code, search a subject and course number. Click Search to submit. 4. You will get a list of courses based on your search criteria. Click Add for your course of choice, Add Section in the pop-up, then proceed to checkout by clicking Register (Check Out) at the top of the page. Think of this like online shopping – you add a course to your cart, then check out at the end to confirm your selection. If you don’t see your course of choice, select Back to Course Catalog. 5. In the checkout screen, you will see the courses you’ve selected in the left side menu. To confirm your enrolment in these courses, select Register for each individual class or Register Now to register in all of your selections. For classes that you have not fully registered in and would like to delete, select the small “x” in the corner of each course listing. Deleting a Course 1. Navigate to the Academics tab and select Register for Classes. 2. You should see a Drop option underneath each course on your schedule. Select Drop to remove the course from your schedule. Note: removing courses can affect your course load and financial aid. Visit us in room B1-151 or contact your ESP if you have any questions about adding or dropping courses.
