CONRAD ANDREW MUYOMBA 810074 Physics 130 was a fully comprehensive course that managed to touch a lot of things that I believe I will need moving forward. I am pursuing civil engineering bachelor’s degree and I will be able to transfer my credits to a university and from these we shall be able to add onto as I pursue my dream of civil engineering. I also benefited for future career in civil engineering in the topics such as heat and thermodynamics I will be able to probably apply when planning insulation of a building and maybe apply it in any other engineering project or structure that involves heat moderation. In the topic of mechanics especially fluid mechanics, I was able to study a bit about pressure and how it affects fluids. The most obvious example is that of dams and how depth of fluids increases with depth and hence the need to counter the forces respectively. I also hope to use my knowledge of the physics concepts I picked to better use the devices around me for example heat pumps and refrigerators. In many cases in the daily life, I ignore the warnings on how to handle heat pumps and refrigerators but with my new found knowledge I can follow them to ensure maximum efficiency. I will also try to explain to the people who have less knowledge of these facts and try to make them enjoy their lives while using these devices. I conclusion, physics 130 contained way too many concepts that I will be able to leave with throughout life and base upon when I pursue my future aspirations.
