“Preservation of the environment – preservation of human life on Earth”
In recent years, the environment has been a topic of discussion at several international
meetings in which the world's most powerful nations have come together to try to reach
agreements that include the most industrialized countries and the most polluting countries.
Interestingly, the most polluted countries currently are the two strongest economic powers,
China and the United States, followed by the European Union, India, Russia and Japan. In

these international agreements are to combat global warming and climate change, and to do
this, they agreed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, since they are estimated to be the cause

But the United States, one of the world's most powerful countries, withdrew from those
agreements after Donald Trump took office, saying they were hampering his country's
economic growth.
It is necessary to take an active and responsible position in preserving the environment. This
applies to all of us equally; no country will be saved if we die out. So both nations and
individuals must take action on this matter.
In a century we have done what nature has not done in millions of years: we have destroyed
the conditions for the existence of human life. If we want to continue to live on Earth with
water, food and air to breathe, we will have to make changes.
The planet will live without us. We can't live without her.
