How to select a speed encoder General specification : Use of an encoder enables letters to be marked correctly if only pulse and wheel diameter are applied properly according to the applying conditions of font reduce as below picture. FONT REDUCTION : 0 ENCODER PULSE : 60 WHEEL DIAMETER : 60 mm The normal printing-out status of 26 or 63mm Printhead ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●●●●● ● ● ● ● On an occasion of Font reduction application : When height of a letter is reduced into a half size in conformity with the Font reduction FONT REDUCTION : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 7 LP7100+ INK JET PRINTER ENCODER PULSE : 120 WHEEL DIAMETER : 60 mm ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●●●●● ● ● ● ● The printing-out status applied the font reduction of 26mm or 63mm printhead. Because the height of a letter has to get short and width of a letter has to get narrow, Encoder pulse must be controlled properly. * When Font Reduction is applied, proper marking letter is printed by increasing encoder pulse or by decreasing wheel diameter at the rate of a letter's height as above. * On an occasion of marking in conformity with Font Reduce, if width of a letter is too narrow, Font type of F2. PRINT SET can be changeable from SINGLE to LIGHT to print. 3-5. Lithium Batteries CAUTION ! Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Adjustment of solenoid valve TYPE "P" PRINTHEAD DWG No.1 TYPE "C" PRINTHEAD DWG No.1-1 A normal marking status problem: Dots are missing at intervals. solution :After tightening up the solenoid valve in which dots are missing by an angle of about 15 degrees clockwise and testing markings, adust again. problem: The change phenomenon of the dot size after adjusting the solenoid valve. solution : Self-print should be done after adjusting a solenoid valve or exchange of a spare and then, this problem may occur a few hours later. If dots become smaller, loosen the solenoid valve by an angle of about 15 degrees counter clockwise. If dots become larger, after tightening up the solenoid valve by an angle of about 15 degrees clockwise and testing marking, adjust again. How to adjust the solenoid valve? When you adjust a printhead after assembling or disassembling it, tighten up the solenoid valve to the degree that ink is not jetted. After this, let it operate a successive print and adjust its right position loosening from a no.1 of solenoid valves counter clockwise by an angle of about 15 degrees. At this time, if the ink begin to be jetted, complete to adjust after loosening more 15. Requirements before delivering a printhead. Allow the printhead that its solenoid valve is first adjusted to operate the self-print about over 24 hours and then it is recommendable to set parameters into PRINT SPEED=20000, DOT SIZE=60, PRINT DELAY=100, and REPEAT PRINT=YES and check frequently if normal markings are being made. How to precisely adjust a solenoid valve After adjusting a solenoid valve with an above method, set dot size to 30 and test for printing. If there are dots unmarked, tighten the solenoid valve clockwise(about an angle of 15 degrees). This is method for a stabler solenoid valve adjustment.
