2. BASIC INSTALLATION OF PRODUCT
2-1. Installation using one printhead
You could install a printhead using a basic bracket as below picture and a printhead could be
mounted on the side, the top and the bottom.
2-2. Installation using two printheads
You could install 2 printheads with using basic brackets in order to mark on both sides as below picture
and printheads could be mounted on the side, the top and the bottom.
4
LP7200+ INK JET PRINTER
2-3.Basic installation of container for ink supply
You could install a standard container for ink supply shown as below. The maximum permissible
inner pressure of the container is 2kg/cm² and should be careful not to exceed it.
For optimum marking, you have to install the container within 1 meter from the printhead and adjust
inner pressure of the container within 0.2~0.3kg.
If inner pressure is too high, it could damage printhead and could not get good marking results.
if inner pressure is too low, marking quality might not be good.
For ink line of the container, we recommend that the line should be installed within 10m.

3. CONNECTING TO A CONNECTOR
3-1. Connecting to detective the signal of an object
By using photo sensor or mechanical switch as an outer signal for operating of the printer, the printer
is connected to I/o signal.
Connecting to printing signal by using photo sensor
The photo sensor operating to DC24V should be used. Photo sensor can be used by connecting to "COMM"

3-4. How to select a speed encoder
General specification : Use of an encoder enables letters to be marked correctly if only pulse
and wheel diameter are applied properly according to the applying conditions of font reduce
as below picture.

ENCODER PULSE : 60
WHEEL DIAMETER : 60 mm

The printing-out status applied the font reduction of 26mm or 63mm
printhead. Because the height of a letter has to get short and width of a
letter has to get narrow, encoder pulse must be controlled properly.
* When FONT REDUCE is applied, proper marking letter is printed by increasing encoder pulse or
by decreasing wheel diameter at the rate of a letter's height as above.
* On an occasion of marking in conformity with FONT REDUCE, if the width of a letter is too narrow,
FONT TYPE of F2. PRINT SET can be changeable from SINGLE to LIGHT to print.
3-5. Lithium Batteries
CAUTION !
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type
recommended by the manufacturer.
Dispose of used batteries according
to the manufacturer's instructions.
3-6. Notice on an occasion of an exchange of battery
If battery is all discharged, even when the power is turned on, main menu display
doesn't show up.
If battery is exchanged and the power is turned on while the ESC button is
being pressed, LOGO display show up.
If you release ESC button about 1sec. later, it passes to main menu display and
operates normally.
On an occasion of an exchange of battery, use it after initializing the system using

2-7. Composition of the reduced font characters
Font reduce print is a function which can print out the character by adjusting the character's
height by printhead's angle. When printhead is vertical, it prints out as below.
By adjusting printhead's angle, you could set font correctly.

* Notice for FONT REDUCE application
- On an occasion of FONT REDUCE application a printing character may be loosen or may
not be printed correctly.
- When moving speed of an object is irregular, the loosen letters can be correct by applying
speed encoder.
- FONT REDUCE is revealed severely in height and width of character depending on moving Speed
of objects and angle declination of printhead. So, first after setting the font reduction value,
you'd better control the character directly regulating print speed and angle of the printhead.

2-9. Definition of printing signal
- Printing signal works by receiving a printing signal of the mechanical switch or the
photo sensor which recognize an object to be printed .
- Once it receives printing signal, all contents set by parameter should be printed and in the
middle of printing, the repeated printing signal is neglected till all printing is over
be neglected before print-out ends.

2-10. Composition of memory location
Memory locations consist of 100 text memory locations which user can select and
input and 50 graphic memory locations in which you can input the graphic of a user
character or graphic logo.
1) Explanation of text memory location
There are 100 memory locations and in one memory location, 1000 characters can
be inputted and outputted.
If input exceed the allowable limit of memory location for input, then, there would be
an error message, TEXT MEMORY FULL.
You could name 00-99 of memory locations and input them or read them on display.
By using combination command, you can call another memory location to a memory
memory location and combine them.
2) Explanation of graphic memory location
There are 50 memory locations, at which can input user characters or logo and max
6200 dots of graphic data can be inputted in whole memory locations horizontally.
One memory location can input max 16(H)or 7(H)X124(W) of graphic data.
You could name 100-50 of memory locations and input them or read them on display.
You can combine graphic data and print them. It is available to combine up to max 10.
