Engine Dynamometers - ACLB - Series 3
Overview
Power Test ACLB-Series 3 engine dynamometers
feature an AC Load Bank and Generator
combination for efficient engine testing. Series 3
dynamometers are offered in 1,000 HP (746 kW)
or 1,500 HP (1118 kW) models, designed for
precise, repeatable testing of engines.
The ACLB-Series feature:
•Low-inertia and high absorption
characteristics in a highly responsive
package.
•The systems include load bank, generator,
sub-base, a self-aligning universal engine
docking cart with adapters, drive shaft
guard, and an SAE 1410 drive shaft.
•This low maintenance dynamometer
system eliminates the need for an
expensive water recirculation system.
•Keep your test cell cooler by externally
locating the load bank assembly.
•Dynamometer can be easily relocated, no
permanent installation required.

may be used for continuous-duty engine power
verification, quality assurance, endurance, and
certification testing.
