1. Setting up the network: The following settings were made after discovering a method for accessing the ManageUPS Net Adapter via the ethernet port (instead of having to build an RJ11-Serial connector). Now the SNMP board (ManageUPS Net Adapter) is accessible via the address 10.12.100.245 with the following credentials from the compass clients : ✓ Username : admin ✓ Password : admin 2. Communication between the Chloride UPS and the SNMP adapter The alarm on the SNMP board with test ‘’ Module Lost Communication ‘’ still persist ‘’ To confirm the reality of the alarm and the loss of the communication, We install ManageUPS software from the official website, which allow us to confirm the existence of the communication loss between the UPS and the adapter. We attempt to upgrade the OS kernel (Not the firmware) after deep searching, but we are unsuccessful. Conclusion : With the set IP address, ManageUPS is now reachable from Compass clients, but it is still impossible to retrieve the UPS data, status, and logs. About the firmware upgrade, the latest version (the available one) not compatible with Chloride UPS Note : This is just a trial from our side before contacting the manufacturer.
