CASE STUDY (10%)
Requirement: Assignment in the form of case study with emphasis on knowledge and
comprehension of the IT system concept.
UNDERSTANDING THE IT SYSTEM CONCEPT
Instruction:
This assignment is a group assignment. Form a group of 4-5 members.
Search and choose ONE (1) organization on the Internet and examine a Transaction
Processing System used by the organization. Inform the lecturer the TPS that you have
selected, as there is no overlapped title will be accepted.
• Describe the organization and their information system that you have selected.
• Identify and explain each of the SEVEN (7) key system elements of the selected
information system (environment, boundary, interface, input, component, output and
storage).
• Include supporting documents / pictures in your report.
Eg; Organization - AirAsia, Information system – AirAsia Online Flight Ticket Booking.
Due date: WEEK 7.
The assignment should adhere the following format:
• Cover Page (UiTM logo, Faculty Name, Program Code, Program Name, Course Code,
Course Name, Assignment Number, Assignment Title, Student ID, Student Name, Class
Group and Lecturer Name) – use the created cover page during the lab session.
• Content MUST be compiled in the report (according to arrangement):
