A World We Live In
A corrupt world we live in.
A world of the influential,
A world of the moneyed.
A world where connections
help you survive .
Where going to school and graduation is just a formality.
Where prostitution has been legalised,
and rape cases are always the girl’s fault.
People claiming to fight for gender equality,
but still depriving women off their rights.
A world where teenage pregnancy has become a trend.
Completing school as a virgin is considered lame.
Men justifying polygamy by saying they are satisfying
the large population of women in the world.
Where getting HIV is considered good work.
Where hardworking and maturity is considered being pompous.
A World where blacks try to be white
and praying is considered sinning.
Dancing is considered a viable career with good cash and gives good pay
while pastors get less than a thousand.
Where pastors preach about prostitution during the day
And buy them during the night.
Where witchcraft is considered good act
Exorcism of demons considered witchcraft.
