Dr. K.S.R. Murthy is currently working in the Department of Chemistry, University of Petroleum and
Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India. He was awarded M.Sc degree in 1991 from Andhra
University, India, M.S degree in Environmental Science from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK
in 1995 and Ph.D. degree in 1998 from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad,
India. He has a total of 21 years of experience in teaching various chemistry courses in Undergraduate
and Graduate level from Indian and abroad Universities. He was awarded ODA Fellowship by British
Government to pursue his studies at Glasgow, UK. His research areas include inorganic metal ions
removal from industrial effluents, characterization of nano materials, renewable energy sources and has
published 2 Text Books on Analytical Chemistry, 23 Research papers in National and International
Peer reviewed Journals and more than 30 technical presentations at National and International
conferences.
Dr. Srinivas Tadepalli is currently working in the department of Chemical Engineering, Imam
Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He awarded Ph.D (Chemical
Engineering) in 2017 and M.Tech (Petroleum and Gas Engineering) degree in 2010 from University of
Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India. He has a total of 13 years of experience in
teaching various Chemical and Petroleum courses in Undergraduate and graduate level from Indian and
abroad Universities. He carried out several experimental studies in the areas of wastewater treatment
and heavy metal ions removal and published various research papers in Peer reviewed Journals. Apart
from his Doctoral Thesis experimental work he was more interested in teaching core chemical
Engineering subjects such as Fluid Mechanics, Thermo dynamics and Heat engines, Heat and Mass
transfer, Numerical methods in Chemical Engineering, Bio-separations, Unit Operations subjects and
also taught to B. Tech Petroleum, Geo Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering students. He gained
knowledge in Modeling and experimental work through various International Journals, and published
papers in SCI and Scopus Journals of repute. His research areas include Environmental Pollution
(Water Pollution), Mass Transfer Operations, Modelling and Simulation, Adsorption and Pollutant
Remediation, Bio-Remediation and Adsorption and published 28 research papers in National and
International Peer reviewed Journals and more than 15 technical presentations in National and
International conferences. He also attended various workshops and Project presentations in National
and International and gained technical knowledge.
