The Average Difference Between The Highest and the Lowest Grades of
Senior High School Students in SMJSI in the School Year 2022-2023

Background of The Study.
School is a very important part of our society, it is what allow children to learn and grow
to become the future generation of our society. This study aims to address the gap between the
lowest and highest of grades of the students to raise awareness of how far behind are the students
with the lowest of grades compared to the students with the highest of grades and if there is a
solution to the problem.
Statement of the problem.
In most schools, the grades of the students vary so much that there is a large gap between
the lowest and highest grades. This is a major issue in the society as not only does this reduce the
amount of employment because a lot of people can’t even get a proper job because of failing
grades, this also means that for these people who coudn’t even get a job because of their grades,
they might end up becoming criminals instead because of this.
Significance of the study.
The goal for this study is to adress a major issue with education wich is that some
students are so far behind than the others to the point of having failed grades. Solving this issue
can help to reduce anemployment wich can be good for our society
Scope of the problem.
In this study, the grades senior high school students in SMJSI will be used as the sample.
