POSE TO POSE WORKFLOW - CHEAT SHEET
Arcs
1
When using tween machine you are creating a straight line between two points in both
translation and rotation. It is then up to you to put it into arc in both.

Spacing
Spacing on in both rotation and translation should always be Progressive and not linear.
+
Progessive spacing = The spacing between each frame should always be getting either
bigger or smaller.
Anticipation / Antic
If the anticipation pose needs to be held
Antics often go the opposite way
leads of eye Into the next move
The bigger the pose change the more
anticipation is needed
Consider it a completely new pose.
If the spacing suddenly changes from getting bigger to smaller then bigger again without a good
reason it will create a hitch in the movement which is unappealing to the eye
You will need to to follow the pose to pose workflow
from pose 1 to the Antic and from the antic to pose 2
2
The closer to Pose A the 'snappier' the spacing

Continued action
Something continues from the last 'pose to

current 'pose to pose' motion.

Overshoot
Some arcs from leading parts can go
beyond pose 2 here

We use the middle frame between our two inital breakdowns and use the middle of
tweenmachine as this is the faster point and not biasing either pose.

Bonus info
Some arcs can go beyond pose 2
body parts should arrive in a final settle on
different poses - this gives a more organic
feel to the motion.
Every time you add another ease you are adding in more information and
breaking up the different parts of the body more and more within the
movement - making it feel more looser / organic and less pose to pose.

Final ease in which acts as a moving hold.
