CRITERIA ONE
3.1.1 - Qualifica on informa on submi ed shall be applicable
only to the company en ty or branch that will perform this
Work.
All information contained herein applies to the Vaughn
Construction office in Bryan, TX
3.1.2 - Provide a statement of interest along with the
respondent’s unique qualifica ons as they pertain to the work
of this project.
By submission of this response, Vaughn is expressing our
interest in providing construction manager at risk services for
the Instructional Laboratory & Innovative Learning
Building. We take pride in our relationship with the Texas A&M
University System (TAMUS) and want to be a part of a project
that will further support the growth of the College Station
campus.
3.1.3 – Company Information

3.1.4 - Iden fy the total number and dollar amount of
contracts you currently have in progress.
We currently have approximately $800,000,000 of work under
contract and this project is well within our work program.
Vaughn is a closely held company and does not make financial
information a matter of public record.
3.1.5 - Iden fy the percent of work and trades you normally
perform with your own forces.
Vaughn construc on will not be u lizing any of our own forces
to complete this project.
3.1.6 - Iden fy if the company is currently for sale or involved
in any transac on to expand or to be acquired by another
business en ty? If yes, plase explain the impact to
organiza on and management efforts.
We are not currently for sale, involved in a transaction to
expand, or in the process of being acquired by another
business entity, nor do we anticipate such action.
3.1.7 - Provide details of any past or pending li ga on, or
claims filed, against your company that may affect your
performance under an Agreement with the Owner.
We are very proud of our record of having zero claims or
litigation with any of our clients or any of our design
professional partners for the last 30+ years. From time to time,
we are named in various matters, mostly nuisance-type claims
from trade contractor employees. We have no matters that
would impair our ability to successfully complete this project.
3.1.8 - Iden fy if your company has ever defaulted, failed to
complete any work or otherwise been discharged prior to
comple on of the project? If yes, s pulate when, where and
why.
We have completed all projects within contract terms. We
have never defaulted, failed to complete work, or otherwise
been discharged prior to completion.
3.1.9 - Iden fy if your company has ever paid liquidated
damages or a penalty for failure to complete a contract on
me. If yes, s pulate for which project, when and why.
We have completed all projects within contract terms. We have
never been declared in default or assessed liquidated damages
on a project.
3.1.10 - Does any rela onship exist by rela ve, business
associate, capital funding agreement, or any other such
kinship between your firm and any Owner employee, officer
or Regent? If so, please explain.
Brad Wendler, a senior project manager at Vaughn, is the son
of Walter Wendler, who is the president of West Texas A&M
University. We do not believe Mr. Wendler has any role in
selecting or awarding contracts to a construction manager for
this project.
