Many People on this earth have more than one nationality. Are they all at the same time or can they choose where they belong? To find an answer to this question you have to look at a few different aspects. On the one hand you have genes from your family in your body. They can not be changed. Your genes are an important aspects for your nationality, they define your looking. For example your haircolour, your skincolour and every other feature of yours. But your looking does not define where you belong to. It is possible that both of your parents are French but you belong to the UK, because you lived your whole life in the UK, speak English, have your friends their and choose to adapt their culture. This makes you at least partly a Briton. Your belonging is defined by the way you live and not by the way you were born. You make choices all your life, so you can choose your belonging too, for most people it is the place where you can feel safe, loved and happy. So to sum up, although you have different genes, you are the one who can choose where you belong to. You belong to the place where you are the happiest person.
