HOW TO TRACK YOUR HOURS FOR BENEFITS
To qualify for health insurance coverage effective 1/1/24, we will consider the average weekly hours worked during
the measurement period from 6/1/23 to 11/30/23, including AR used. If a crew member meets the hours
requirement they will be offered an enrollment or be eligible to continue coverage. We will give credit for time
spent on transitional duty (30 days maximum), medical, military and workers’ compensation.
To determine eligibility using the standard measurement period (June 1st to November 30th), crew members can
check their Measurement Period hours in Dayforce. Current Measurement Period hours can be seen on the
Dayforce HUB Home page under Balances:
EXAMPLE:
Members of the Crew will need at least 732 hours
to be eligible for medical, dental and vision
coverage. To be eligible for dental and vision only,
members of the Crew will need at least 392.14
hours. To ensure that crew members are on track
to qualify for benefits and are averaging at least 28
or 15 hours per week, please reference this chart to
help guide them.
The information applies only to crew members
hired on or before 6/1/23. Those hired after 6/1/23
please refer to the new hire eligibility requirements
on Dayforce Hub under Benefits, then New Hire
