I recently accepted an offer to work at Bank of America Merrill Lynch this summer in their corporate banking division in New York as part of their sophomore global banking and markets program. My goal, however, is to begin my career in investment banking and I am seeking to speak to more bankers about the role. If you have a moment, I was hoping we could talk on the phone so I can learn more Goldman Sachs as well as your personal experience in the industry. Please let me know if you would be free to chat sometime this week. I’m free between 12:30 pm and 3 pm EST on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as between 11 am and 3pm EST on Wednesday, and all day Friday. Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you! Best, Jonathan Severns Sample Thank You Email Hi Spencer, Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your time yesterday. I really enjoyed learning about your background and experiences at Moelis thus far and appreciate the encouragement you offered for getting started early on the networking process. In the coming weeks, I’ll be continuing to reach out to people at Moelis to keep learning about the analyst experience. Is there anyone that you recommend I reach out to as I move forward? Thank you again and have a great day! Best, Luis
