BIOME PROJECT
The objective of this project is to create a physical model of a
biome. You will choose one of the following biomes:
(1) Chaparral
(2) Desert
(3) Freshwater
(4) Grassland
(5) Marine
(6) Savanna
(7) Taiga
(8) Temperate Forest
(9) Tropical Rainforest
(10) Tundra
You can use a shoebox or you can create it on cardboard. The
choice is yours. The diorama must include at least two (2) examples
of animals common to the biome and at least two (2) examples of
plants common to the biome. You must also create an informational
document that describes your biome. The informational document
must include the following:
- description of the climate
o include rainfall
o include temperatures
- examples of animals (at least two)

o include adaptation to biome
examples of plants (at least two)
o include adaptation to biome
location in the world
an interesting fact (at least one)
a current environmental issue
