Bashō, in full name
Matsuo Bashō, he is the
supreme Japanese haiku
poet, and the author of
the story entitled The
Aged Mother.
The “Story of the Aged Mother” tells
about the story of the son and his
mother going through struggles
because of the unkind ruler who
issued cruel orders. The orders
included sending the elderly to the
mountain to be abandoned and left to
die.

to identify the sequence of the story by
answering the prepared questions.
2. You will write the letter of your answer
on the card board provided by your teacher.
The first group who will raise their card
board will be the one to answer.
3. If the answer of the group is
incorrect, the other group can steal
the question. The team who will give
the correct answer will get the
points. Each correct answer is
equivalent to 10 points.
4. After doing the given activity,
each group will classified the
elements of The Aged Mother
using the Plot Diagram on the
board.

was his mother who has taught him. The governor
