“Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences”
1. Differentiate Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
-Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences proposes that people are not born with all of the
intelligence they will ever have. This theory challenged the traditional notion that one single type of
intelligence, sometimes known as “g” for general intelligence, only focuses on cognitive abilities. To
broaden this notion of intelligence, Gardner introduced eight types of intelligence: Linguistic,
Logical/Mathematical, Spatial, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, and Naturalist.
2. As a future educator, why is it important to learn Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences?
-Learning more about many bits of intelligence might make it simpler for me to see my advantages. As
I've seemed to capture and improve my abilities and skills and have the strength to show off what to
prove, this theory provides a vow that helps me throughout my career and can relate to and give my
future students the road understanding. People have many different types of intelligence that they can
value and effectively use, not just one intellectual capacity. Each of us possesses a variety of talents,
advantages, and disadvantages. Teaching our students about the multiple intelligence theory helps them
understand that everyone has something valuable to contribute in every setting and that our differences
can make us stronger as a group. It also aids in enhancing your performance.
3. According to Howard Gardner’s Theory, how can assess yourself?
“People are not born with all of the intelligence they will ever have,” said Gardner. This approach
encourages the various types of intelligence we might enjoy exploring, developing, and using after. We
have so-called skills and where we are good at that makes us stand out from others. I'm more engaged
and learn best when I'll be given various ways to demonstrate my knowledge and skills, which also
helps me more accurately assess my learning at school. This proposed self-development and assessment
address the range of your skills and strengths related to Howard Gardner's series of eight inclusion
criteria while evaluating each "candidate" intelligence based on various scientific disciplines.
