Task (30 minutes)
Talk Show
There will be 4 people in group.
One group member will be the interviewer (Khadija) on the talk show.
The remaining three group members will be one of the following guests on the talk show:
• A politician (Mr. Aftab)
• The CEO of pharmaceutical company (Sumbal Shahzad)
• A celebrity actor (Faiza Shahzad)
(After come up with a name of her talk show and the host introduce the guests.)
Interviewer: Assalamualaikum, Madam!
CEO: WalaikumAsalam, How are you?
Interviewer: I am good Madam. What about you?
CEO: Ahh, I am great.
( The interviewer then ask probing questions from the guests, firstly from me.)
Interviewer: So when are we going to see you on the big screen next as you are a well
known person.
CEO: Soon. I, with my teammates recently introduce a drug for heart patients and it will
be first approved by WHO(World Health Organization).
Interviewer: That’s great! When it will be available in markets?
CEO: May It will be available in December. I really want to thank all for your support.
(After that she take an interview of the celebrity who seems to be regret after her
questions. I was attracted to them, then the interviewer attracted to me after a while, as
if I would be asked a question now.)
Interviewer: Madam! Tell us about a time when you felt grateful to someone or grateful
about something. (expressing gratitude)
CEO: I am feel grateful to have a hard work teammates. They bring their best every day
and for that I appreciate them more than I can express, not just on a single day set aside
for that purpose… but everyday. Thank you to share your grateful feeling with us.
Interviewer: Wow, that’s Interesting. Thanks to share it with us.
(Now the interviewer move toward the politician. Suddenly, there 's a some fire fighting
Q/A between the celebrity and a politician. May be here the end of the talk show.)
