Script for Division Festival of Knowledge 2023
Reminders (before the actual program)
Ma`am Gladdys: The Lord be with you and good day everyone! Here are a few reminders before
we start our program proper.
1. Participants will be seated in the holding area based on their testing rooms. The right side
facing the stage will be for SHS and the left side will be for the JHS participants.
2. If a participant will also be joining the quiz bee in other subjects, he / she will be asked to
go back first to the holding area after finishing the first test. The room marshals will usher
him / her again to a different or the same testing room.
3. The schedule of the quiz bee is as follows:
4. Awarding of winners will immediately commence after each subject is done. If the
participant is not around as he/she is still in the testing rooms, coaches will be the one to
receive the award.
5. Trash bags are placed around the holding area for waste management and control.
Likewise, take home trash is encouraged.
6. As regards to food, participants and guests may bring their own or buy from the canteen.
Please note that food delivery is not allowed so the guards on duty will not allow entry of
any food delivery service.
7. Participants and guests are expected not to litter inside the school`s premises. Again, trash
bins are placed around the gymnasium.
8. Parking slot is first come, first served basis.
9. Lastly, participants and guests should only stay in the holding area, quiz bee rooms, green
houses and canteen as there are areas that are restricted for guests.
Sir Russel: As part of our effort to ensure the safety of everyone here present today, may we
request Mr. Antonio Cadorna, Jr., our safety officer to discuss the Standard Operating
Procedures during unforeseen circumstances (e.g., fire or earthquake). A round of applause for Sir

Ma`am Gladdys: The Lord be with you and good day our dear participants, coaches, guests and
everyone present here today for the Division Festival of Knowledge 2023 with the theme: The
Battle of Learners ` Academic Knowledge: A preview of Quality Education sponsored by the
Cavite Province Association of Private Schools. We are thrilled to have each one of you, gathered
under the banner of intellectual curiosity and the pursuit of wisdom here at Rogationist College,
Silang. Over the next hours we will embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and collaboration,
celebrating the diverse tapestry of knowledge that unites us all.
Sir Russel: That is right. This festival is not just an event; it's a celebration of the relentless human
spirit that seeks to understand, explore, and share the wealth of information that enriches our lives.
So, without any further ado, let us start the program with an invocation to be led by Ms. Vanessa
Joyce L. Viaña, CPAPS Assistant Secretary. This will be followed by the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem. Please all stand.
Ma`am Gladdys: You may all be seated.
At this juncture, may we request Fr. Wesley M. Taguibao, RCJ, Rector- President to give his
welcome remarks. Let us give him a round of applause.

Ma`am Gladdys: Thank you, Father Wesley for those warm and inspiring words. We are truly
honoured to have you with us today and to benefit from your insights. Your welcome remarks have
set a positive tone for what promises to be a remarkable occasion.
Sir Russel: At this point, may we request Dr. Teodora F. Nazareno, CPAPS President for her
opening remarks. Let us give her a round of applause.

Your words resonate deeply and serve as a beacon for the values of excellence and collaboration
within our educational community.
Ma`am Gladdys: Now, we will listen to an inspirational message from our Curriculum
Implementation Division Chief, Dr. Elpie B. Bergado. Let us give her a round of applause.
Thank you very much Dr. Bergado for that truly inspiring message. Your passion for education
and commitment to curriculum excellence shine through, and we are deeply appreciative of the
wisdom you've shared with us today.
CONTEST PROPER
Sir Russel: At this time, we will now start our quiz bee. So, participants get ready as you will be
ushered to your testing rooms by the room marshals. Good luck to all and see you during the
awarding!!
AWARDING ( every hour)
Sir Russel: We will now commence the awarding of the winners for our Division Festival of
Knowledge 2023. We may call on the CPAPS Officers to hand in the medals and certificates to
our winners.
Ma`am Gladdys: Congratulations to our winners!!!
As we draw near the conclusion of our remarkable Division Festival of Knowledge 2023, may we
call on Ms. Michelle C. Subay, CPAPS VP – External Affairs for the closing remarks. Let us
give her a big hand.
Sir Russel: Thank you, Ms. Michelle. At this point, we request everyone to please stand for the
closing prayer to be led by Ms. Dana M. Hernandez, CPAPS Auditor.
Ma`am Gladdys: Thank you everyone for coming today and congratulations again to all the
winners!
