AGENDA
1. CABA Week Activities
In preparation for the upcoming event, which is CABA Week, the body decided to discuss the
requirements for participation in the program as well as the preparation for the contested
activities. The fourth-year representative, who is also a CABA officer, Ms. Hannah Balauag,
updated the members regarding the different events and activities that will be held on October 23–
28, 2023. A few days before the meeting, the local chapter president assigned the representatives
for each year level to announce these activities to their fellow JPIAns in their respective group
chats.
The representatives listed the interested participants and updated the body that there are still no
participants for the CABA vlog, slogan, and poster. While completing the names, the members
asked questions about the criteria of the contested activities, as well as the mechanics, and the
concerns were being answered by the CABA officers. Materials will be provided by the
contestants, but the officers will help in providing them. After a few minutes, the participants have
already been completed.
Another contested activity is the booth competition, where each district has to build and design a
booth in a designated area. The Executive Vice President, together with the Vice President for
Academics and the fourth-year Representative, are the ones that will be assigned to the
preparation of the booth. It was discussed that the concepts and materials should be finalized on or
before Saturday. These include the budget proposal for the needed materials, the concepts in the
design, and the marketing strategies to be executed in selling the products of the district. Some of
the products to be sold are school supplies, bags, and stickers. The officers will gather the day
before the actual event to design the booth and prepare the necessary requirements.
Another highlight of the meeting was the assignment of heads per contested activity to oversee the
event and make sure that the participants are well taken care of and will proceed to the contest
properly prepared. It was also discussed that other information for each activity will be provided
in the next few days to be updated on the changes in the program flow, mechanics, or criteria.
2. Attendance and Fines
The local chapter president pointed out that attendance should be strictly monitored during the
whole CABA week. Representatives per grade level should provide an attendance sheet and will
strictly monitor the attendance of their classmates. There will be time in and time out, and the
students that will not attend will have a fine of 20 pesos per attendance, but it should not exceed up
to 50 pesos a day.
