6
3. Resource Allocation:
The information gathered about the numbers of users and priority levels
directly influences resource allocation strategies. During peak hours, specifically
from 12 noon onwards, when user demand is at its highest, the system can
intelligently allocate resources based on priority levels. This ensures that users
with higher priority levels, such as administrators or premium subscribers,
receive optimal bandwidth and computing resources.
4. Optimizing User Experience:
With the limited capacity of 200 customers, optimizing the user experience
is paramount. The priority levels play a crucial role in achieving this optimization
by ensuring that critical tasks and users are given precedence. This approach
helps prevent congestion during busy periods, reducing the likelihood of
slowdowns or service interruptions.
5. User Experience During Peak Hours:
Understanding the demand and assigning priority levels allows the cafe to
proactively manage user experience during peak hours. By intelligently
distributing resources and giving priority to critical functions, the cafe can
maintain a seamless and satisfactory user experience even when operating at
full capacity.
In summary, the careful analysis of numbers of users and priority levels is imperative for
7
God’s Link Internet Cafe, especially considering its capacity constraints. This
data-driven approach enables the cafe to make informed decisions regarding resource
allocation, prioritize critical functions, and ultimately provide a positive and efficient user
experience within the defined limitations.
Transmission Speed Requirements
In addressing the Transmission Speed Requirements for God's Link Internet
Cafe, the varying nature of internet activities necessitates a tailored approach to
determine specific speed requirements for distinct functions such as web browsing,
streaming, and online gaming. This essential data plays a pivotal role in making
informed decisions regarding internet service providers and configuring the networking
infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Similar to the reference provided, the proposed networking design for God's Link
Internet Cafe's data transmission and communication will depend on several factors.
The bandwidth supported by the selected cables, considering options like CAT 6, will be
a key consideration. CAT 6 cables, known for supporting a maximum bandwidth of 10
GB, can form the backbone of a reliable and high-speed network infrastructure. This
robust bandwidth is more than sufficient to accommodate the cafe's requirements for
data transmission and communication during both regular operating hours and peak
periods.
The choice of cables, such as CAT 6, will play a crucial role in determining the cafe's
8

anticipated from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on weekdays, coinciding with peak user
engagement. During these hours, activities such as web browsing, streaming, and
gaming are likely to be prevalent, requiring adequate transmission speeds for a
9
seamless user experience.
To ensure optimal performance, the cafe's network design parameters should be
carefully considered. The average required throughput during peak usage hours may be
identified based on observed patterns and user demands. Additionally, anticipating peak
traffic loads during specific time slots, similar to the 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00
p.m. to 10:00 p.m. windows observed at God’s Link, is essential for configuring the
network to handle maximum simultaneous usage.
While the average required throughput during regular work hours (6:00 a.m. to 10:00
p.m.) may be estimated at a level that ensures optimal performance for common
internet activities, the peak expected traffic load should be accommodated with higher
transmission speeds. For instance, if the average required throughput is identified at 10
Mbps, the network should be capable of handling a peak traffic load of around 22 Mbps
during periods of heightened user activity.
Ultimately, this data-driven approach aids in selecting an appropriate internet service
plan and configuring the networking infrastructure to meet the specific demands of
God's Link Internet Cafe, ensuring that users can engage in a variety of internet
activities without experiencing performance bottlenecks.
Storage Requirements
God's Link Internet Cafe, equipped with 200 available PCs, must strategically
